Synopsis:
A group of girls plan a getaway birthday weekend for their friend, Alice. Escaping to a beautiful secluded cabin the girls settle in for several days of gossip, girlt time and grub.
The bunch start off where they always do, old rivalries in place, extreme banity covering great insecurities, but a true love for each other underneath the bickering, sniping and sassing.
A number of drinks into the first evening and a deark secret is revealed. Teh house they rented is the sight of a mass murder of teenage girls on a sleepover 15 years earlier. Blood still stains the floors under replacement carpets. The killer still runs free.
The girls take it fro what it seems - a fun story for a rainy night in front of a roaring fire. But after one of them disappears and is discovered in the woods, dead - her Prada heel, taken from her long (and by her own admission) gorgeous legs and impaled in her eyeball - the story doesn't seem so fun anymore. The women head back to the cabin to get help, but the phone lines have been cut, the SUV sabotaged and the cell tower disabled. The strongest of the group heads out across the lake to get help, but not before discovering another of them, dead, her body empty of blood, her beautiful head of hair, scalped clean off her head.
Soon the girls turn on each other, assucing one another of jealousy and chemical imbalance. The accusations are improbable, sort of, but could one of them have actually done it? The group lock themselves in the house and wait for their heroine to return with the police, but even locked doors and windows can't keep them safe. When one more dies, the remaining 4 decide to take off on foot and risk exposure to get to the other side of the lake and the authorities. The journey will turn into a race against death. Who will make it out alive?
